Paramount Coffee Project offers two Los Angeles locations- its original LA location on Fairfax and a more recently opened DTLA located within the trendy industrial warehouse space, ROW DTLA. As what what originally conceived as a joint venture between Jin Ng of Paramount House, Mark Dundon of Seven Seeds, and Russell Beard of Reuben Hills down under in Sydney, Australia, the project has since expanded to include pop-up collaborations with top roasters and baristas from across the globe.
This iconically Aussie cafe (most of the servers I’ve interacted with actually have Aussie accents) is known as one of LA’s most beloved locations for coffee and lighter bites with a unique outback twist.
PCP’s ROW location is larger and more open than its Fairfax mothership which opened back in 2015. The space offers an airy ambiance of classic Los Angeles sunshine-filled relaxation, for a coffee meetup or to chat over avocado toast with a friend. PCP offers service both inside and outside on the garden patio which perfect for people watching.
The coffee spot roasts its own beans and works with many different roasters on partnerships which gives them the ability to showcase a variety of flavors.
The ROW location will be open from breakfast until into the evening which means a WINE component will be added to its mix of specialty coffee and “CalAussie” cuisine. Its mix of breakfast-like items including sweet and savory flavors like pastries, avocado toast or a hearty bowl is divine at any time of day.
The most obvious must-have? A flat white, of course.
PCP ROW DTLA is located at 1320 E 7TH ST M2 SUITE 100 LOS ANGELES, CA 90021
